차 세대 키울 준비가 된 WUZHEN Internet Conference

Since 2014, the World Internet Conference Wuzhen Summit has been successfully held for nine consecutive years. Over the past nine years, the Summit has continuously gathered wisdom, built consensus, and deepened digital cooperation. It has developed into a high-end global platform aiming to promote shared benefits and joint governance of the Internet, and the exchange and cooperation in the digital economy, which has won great attention, strong support and wide recognition from the international community. In July, 2022, the World Internet Conference was formally established as an international organization, with the goal to build a global platform for extensive consultation, joint contribution and shared benefits of the Internet, promote the international community to follow the trend of digitization, networking and intelligence in the information age, meet security challenges together, bring more benefits to the people, and build a community with a shared future in cyberspace.

To further expand exchanges and dialogues and broadly unite young people to participate in the development of the World Internet Conference (WIC) as an international organization in an open and inclusive manner, the WIC has created the Global Youth Leadership Program (GYLP) to select a group of outstanding young people in the fields of Internet policy, business, research or public welfare from around the world to be deeply involved in the annual WIC Wuzhen Summit and related training, dialogues, and research activities so as to continuously build a platform for regular and diversified exchanges and cooperation among the young people. Taking the 10th year of Wuzhen Summit as an opportunity, we have launched the recruitment of the first batch of youth representatives for the GYLP this year.
